General Description
EMA Design Automation is currently seeking a Application Engineer
to join our technical support team. This is a great opportunity for
a recent college graduate who is interested in helping us support
and advance the Electrical and Design Engineering community. Gain a
variety of hands-on experience working closely with several
established companies in North America as well as startups in the
IoT space.
Duties
Support EDA software products with a focus on OrCAD Capture, PSpice
and other Electrical Engineering tools.
Interact with customers and troubleshoot problems to provide a high
level of customer satisfaction.
Educate customers on product features and support resources.
Report Software issues and document for interaction and resolution
with R&D.
Learn new functions and features of the tool set as they are
released
Requirements
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or similar
Must possess the ability to work in a team environment
Maintain a familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and
procedures within Electrical Engineering. Rely on certain degree of
creativity and latitude, judgment and experience to plan and
accomplish goals.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as a self-starter; manage workloads and multiple
tasks independently, track progress, and report to management
Ability to be flexible and adjust to a changing set of
circumstances
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to a high level
of precision
Legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
