  • WET ETCH process areas Technology Development and/or Pathfinding aspects for continued technology scaling of performance vs cost
  • all aspects of WET ETCH process engineering for Western Digital's next generation memory development in front-end CMOS and back-end CELL fields.Preferred Skills
    • Direct experience taking a novel technology from concept to high volume manufacturing highly is preferred
    • Experience working on multi-layer cross-point architectures is preferred
    • Proven experience building and driving WET ETCH process engineering teams
    • Adaptable and agile with a mindset to drive innovation concurrently with executionQualifications
      • Possess a Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in any engineering or science disciplines related to semiconductor fabrication
      • 10+ years of experience in WET ETCH process areas Technology Development and/or Pathfinding divisions of DRAM, MRAM, Nand Flash and/or Logic semiconductor fabrication
      • Experience in (i) determining the required equipment selection including configuration, capabilities, and evaluations (ii) driving the fab materials and equipment vendors with uber clarity (a) of problem statement and success criteria (b) on strategy (iii) leading cross-functional projects under ambiguity and constraints
      • Deep technical understanding (a) on semiconductor process and integration in CMOS and/or memory fields (b) in wet etch/clean and drying chemistries including mechanisms/techniques (c) in thin Films characterization using metrology/surface modification/analysis techniques/methods (XRR, XRD, XPS, XRF, SIMs, SEM/EDS, TEM etc); and (d) on pattern collapse/toppling
      • Experience in training/coaching senior WET ETCH engineers to build a world class team, valuing company's culture, to meet division goals (yield, reliability, and cost)
