Job Description: Lead Device Product EngineerLocation: Milpitas, CADepartment: Product EngineeringReports To: Reliability, Test and Assembly ManagerSupervises: TechniciansSummary:The ProductEngineer will provide technical support to our organization by their technicalknowledge in the areas of electrical component testing for a broad range ofdevices ranging from diodes to microprocessors and following testing protocolsto test device parameters as defined by the customers and product datasheet. Willneed to work closely with Sales & Marketing, Engineering, ExternalCustomers and Suppliers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals aremet. The Product Engineer's job also includes performing extensive dataanalysis.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

--- - - - - - - Work with Engineering and B.D. to determinethe technical requirements necessary to support a customer bench test project.

--- - - - - - - Deploy DAQ hardware and software in an efficientand logical manner.

--- - - - - - -Benchtest and instrumentation testing knowledge and experience a must.

--- - - - - - -Electromechanical understanding of components and thermal management techniques.

--- - - - - - -Vector conversion / Vector Translation and driverset-up

--- - - - - - -Monitor jobs during stress cycles using data loggingroutines

--- - - - - - - Hardware and ovenrepairs, maintenance and calibration

--- - - - - - -WriteLab view code using NI equipment and drivers.

--- - - - - - -Keepthe project status updated in the planning system for the bench areaOther Duties & Responsibilities:

--- - - - - - -BS inEngineering, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience as aTest/Product/Reliability Engineering.

--- - - - - - -BSEE degree and semiconductor or technicalexperience in the Military and Aerospace industry is desirable.

--- - - - - - - Knowledge of commonly used concepts,practices, and procedures in a test lab environment

--- - - - - - - Knowledgeable of electrical test programsfor components.

--- - - - - - - Knowledgeable Lab view and NI hardware.Job Skills:

--- - - - - - -Proactive self-starter capable of workingindependently with minimal supervision and high capacity to support multipletasks with varying levels of complexity;

--- - - - - - -High level of personal drive andresponsiveness with attention to detail;

--- - - - - - -Strong organization, time management andprioritization skills are required

--- - - - - - - Proven ability to influencecross-functional teams without formal authority

--- - - - - - - Excellent verbal and written communicationskills

--- - - - - - - Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word andPowerPointSalary and benefits commensurate with qualificationsand experience.The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
