Job Description:
-The Product Security and Infrastructure team is responsible for
every aspect of Tarana's product security. We are responsible for
ensuring that our cloud services and our customer's networks are
secure.As a Principal Embedded Security Engineer, you will work
with the Tarana leadership, engineering, and operations team to
define, implement, and enforce security policies on our physical
products. -Job Responsibilities: -
Manage product governance and
certificationsConduct assessments of security controls and
configuration and continuous verification with
automationEngineering, implementing, and supervising security
measures for the protection of embedded wireless systems and
integrationsDefine and perform security architecture reviews for
existing and new productsThreat modeling and penetration
testingPerform security training and outreach to internal
development teamsAnalyze and harden security posture of our
embedded software and hardware platformsUnderstand, analyze and
recommend security policy and implementation for open source
componentsRequired Skills & Experience:
12 years of experience with a Minimum
of 7 years previous experience in Security Operations, Software
Development, Application Security teamExcellent and professional
communication skills (written and verbal) and can articulate
complex topics clearly and conciselySolid understanding of common
security flaws and the ability to explain ways to address
themExperience running security assessment tools (e.g. Nessus) -
and ensuring that any issues found are remediatedHands-on
experience architecting, automating, maintaining, securing
seembedded wireless systemsExtensive knowledge of embedded systems
security concepts such as Secure Boot, Secure Storage, HW level
SecurityUnderstand Trusted Platform Module technology and
cryptographic standardsNice to haves: -
Experience with regulatory
requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley, SOC2 type 2, ISO, NIST, and
PCI-DSSExperience with international security and privacy
