Job Description:

The Product Security and Infrastructure team is responsible for every aspect of Tarana's product security. We are responsible for ensuring that our cloud services and our customer's networks are secure.As a Principal Embedded Security Engineer, you will work with the Tarana leadership, engineering, and operations team to define, implement, and enforce security policies on our physical products.Job Responsibilities:

• Manage product governance and certifications
• Conduct assessments of security controls and configuration and continuous verification with automation
• Engineering, implementing, and supervising security measures for the protection of embedded wireless systems and integrations
• Define and perform security architecture reviews for existing and new products
• Threat modeling and penetration testing
• Perform security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Analyze and harden security posture of our embedded software and hardware platforms
• Understand, analyze and recommend security policy and implementation for open source componentsRequired Skills & Experience:
  • 12 years of experience with a Minimum of 7 years previous experience in Security Operations, Software Development, Application Security team
  • Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) and can articulate complex topics clearly and concisely
  • Solid understanding of common security flaws and the ability to explain ways to address them
  • Experience running security assessment tools (e.g. Nessus) and ensuring that any issues found are remediated
  • Hands-on experience architecting, automating, maintaining, securing seembedded wireless systems
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded systems security concepts such as Secure Boot, Secure Storage, HW level Security
  • Understand Trusted Platform Module technology and cryptographic standardsNice to haves:
    • Experience with regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley, SOC2 type 2, ISO, NIST, and PCI-DSS
