Responsible for specifying, designing
and productizing RF transceiversInvolved in early stages for the
design concept, working close with other teams to narrow down
optimum specification and best system performanceDesign with
various sub-micron technology nodesLeadership for block design,
macro design and top-level integration -Required Skills and
Experience: -
Minimum of 2 years of experience with
PhD, or 5 yrs. of experience with MS or 8 yrs of experience with BS
degree -Minimum of 2 years of experience with PhD, or 5 yrs. of
experience with MS.Analog circuit design, experience of RF
transceiver design is required - TX/RX building IP blocks (power
amplifiers, LNA, mixers, amplifiers, other RF building blocks
etc.)Good knowledge of analog and mixed-signal to design - -Data
converters experience/knowledge is a plusRF and Wireless Systems
Designs is highly desirable - especially related to calibration of
RF impairments.Experience with S-parameters, matching networks,
passive EM designs is requiredUsing Industry-standard design,
simulation, and verification tools such as Cadence Suite (Composer,
Virtuoso), Calibre (DRC, LVS, PEX) is requiredLayout proficiency
and general floor planning is requiredAble to drive physical
designers that develop our full custom high-speed layout is
requiredAble to understand all process effects on designs and
layout is requiredApply industry-standard best practices and
methodology to minimize design risk is requiredDebugging
post-silicon circuit issues is requiredRF performance tuning and
impairment tradeoffs is a plusSystems level analysis of designs
Signal Integrity / RF performance / Noise budget/ throughput /
Thermal / etc. is a plus -Important skills: -
