The candidate uses their engineering education, experience, and
resourcefulness to be a technical liaison in a leadership role
between JJSV engineering and external manufacturers. Supports
external manufacturers to ensure external manufacturing processes
are continuously improved upon order to produce products safely and
efficiently that meet all quality, compliance, cost, and delivery
requirements. Prevents or minimizes unplanned downtime. Provides
support to identify, procure, qualify, and integrate key
manufacturing tools, equipment, processes, and systems. In this
role, the candidate will investigate product and process quality in
order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction,
and lead all aspects of continuous improvement projects. Improving
and designing production electronic testing equipment for internal
manufacturing and working with external suppliers to generate and
optimize PCBA testing. Detailed working knowledge in areas such as
data analytics, statistics, and Six Sigma/Lean methodologies. The
candidate must be able to develop and apply mathematical or
statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and
summarize numerical data to provide usable and actionable
information. Document, verify, and validate mechanical, optical,
and electrical designs and their related processes. Planning and
implementing component qualifications, sampling plans, and test
strategies. Support new product transfer activities, including
process qualification and supplier component processes.
