interact with every day.Position: Staff DevOps
EngineerResponsibilities:
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform,
Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
- Design, implement and maintain all AWS infrastructure and
services within a managed service environment.
- Design, Deploy and maintain enterprise class security, network
and systems management applications within an AWS environment.
- Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance
plans for the AWS managed service environment.
- Good working knowledge on PKI security using AWS CloudHSM,
certificate management.
- Experience with creating and managing Harness CI/CD
pipeline.
- Build and enhance microservices using Java/Python which can
operate at scale in k8s clusters in Production environment.
- Continual re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to
maintain optimal performance, availability and security.
- Manage the production deployment and deployment
automation.
- Implement process and quality improvements through task
automation.
- Institute infrastructure as code, security automation and
automation of routine maintenance tasks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like
Docker, Kubernetes.
- Build, Deploy and Manage Kubernetes clusters through
automation.
- Create and deliver knowledge sharing presentations and
documentation for support teams.
- Learning on the job and explore new technologies with little
supervision.
- Work effectively with onsite/offshore teams.
- Good debugging skills to resolve issues during crisis
situations.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+
years of experience in IT.
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining
Production AWS infrastructure and managed services.
- Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance
plans for Production grade Kubernetes multi-cluster setup.
- Knowledge of JAVA/Python MVC framework (Springboot, Django,
Flask, etc) development for containerized microservices.
- Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture,
automation, integration, and deployment.
- Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the
enterprise IT landscape.
- Extensive experience with AWS (IAM, Route53, SSM, S3, EFS, EBS,
ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, RDS, Cloud
Formation, DynamoDB, EKS, EFS, Sagemaker).
- Solid understanding of AWS IAM Roles and Policies.
- Solid Linux experience with a focus on web (Apache
Tomcat/Nginx).
- Experience with automation/configuration management using
Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
- Understanding of protocols/technologies like Microservices,
HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS/MTLS, LDAP, JDBC, SQL, HTML.
- Experience in managing and working with offshore teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD process and systems such as Jenkins,
Harness, GitLab etc.
- AWS, Kubernetes Certification is preferred.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams.The pay range for
this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire
salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be
between USD$155,000-215,000/year. However, base pay offered may
vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related
knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total
compensation package for this position may also include other
elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
