A 200 bed San Francisco Bay Area Nonprofit Medical Center is looking for an Interim Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee their Medical Surgical Step Down Unit.This Hospital is part of a large and stable healthcare organization, with facilities throughout the region. The Interim Assistant Nurse Manager Medical Surgical will be responsible for a 24 bed Medical Surgical Unit, Ortho, Neuro Spine Unit.The Interim Assistant Nurse Manager of the Med Surg Step Down will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Medical Surgical provide guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, budgeting and quality improvement.The Interim Medical Surgical Ortho Neuo Assistant Nurse Manager will report to the Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services be responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and services for the Medical Surgical Unit.To ensure proper staffing for the Unit, Interim the Medical Surgical Assistant Nursing Manager will hire and train the unit's clinical staff. The ideal Med Surg Assistant Nurse Manager will be a hands-on leader that can provide direct patient care if needed and encourages and develops the team to perform at a high level of excellence.Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Assistant Nurse Manager will have the opportunity to live in one of the most culturally diverse regions in the country.
