This is a very exciting time to join the Tarana family. Years of R&D and prototyping have led to the successful commercial release of our G1 products built with custom in-house designed ASICs and RFICs. With many products variants coming up this year, we are looking to expand and enhance our system test capabilities. This is a position within the Systems Engineering department with a focus on performance characterization of PHY and MAC layers.
We are growing our team and are looking for a detail oriented engineer to own our system level design verification effort.
Job Responsibilities:We are looking for a bright and self-driven candidate who is able to:

• Hire, lead and manage a small team of wireless test engineers.
• Own and bring innovation to the system test methodologies, working with different teams to resolve automated test issues and drive them to a resolution.
• Refine PHY / MAC performance tests from a coverage and pass / fail criteria standpoints in order to achieve a consistent 100% passing rate.
• Develop and maintain a dashboard of regression results.
• Review regression results on a daily basis and track / prioritize each of the observed issues.
• Identify deficiencies in the test strategy and recommend and implement test suite improvements.
• Automate the generation of test reports for major customer releases.

  Job Requirements:
  • A "get-it-done" attitude and an eagerness to deliver quality wireless systems products.
  • Prior experience with object oriented programming using Python.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good problem solving skills, ability to independently analyze, interpret test results, and correlate performance issues.
  • Good understanding of wireless fundamentals and OFDM-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the communications field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
