Product Marketing Manager, IoTium Security SuiteIoTium is a zero-touch deployment, software-based managed service solution that shields all IoT and connected devices in buildings from the internet, facilitates secure remote access and management of networked assets, enables CIOs to monitor and gain visibility of their entire real estate portfolios and lowers operating costs. IoTium eliminates security and management oversight challenges faced by building owners through a powerful edge-to-cloud managed service solution that unifies and protects the building's current and future assets, securely transports data to the cloud for centralized visibility and control, and standardizes all remote access protocols for increased security. IoTium is already deployed in over 1,000 buildings and is growing rapidly.
POSITION SUMMARYAs the Product Marketing Manager (PMM), you will be responsible for the 4Ps of marketing for this innovative suite of security products and will own the execution of the go-to-market strategy. You will work closely with the sales and product teams to enable successful adoption by customers and rapid sales growth of the IoTium products, including developing target customer profiles; compelling value propositions, positioning documents and sales collateral; pricing and promotion strategies; and sales motions. You are an exceptionally talented, energetic, optimistic, and hands-on, get-it-done product marketer. Success will be measured by your ability to drive market awareness, customer mindshare, product adoption, product differentiation, and ultimately sales success and effectiveness.You are passionate about product marketing and technology products, and excited by the mission and challenge of establishing your product as the industry leader in capabilities, awareness, customer adoption and commercial success. You are self-motivated, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, learning new skills and expanding your horizons. You take the mission seriously but not yourself.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop compelling value proposition and product positioning statements, pricing and promotion strategies for each market segment and vertical.
  • Articulate the customer benefits and business outcomes of using IoTium in a compelling manner, and develop marketing materials, customer collateral and sales collateral to communicate these. Train the sales team and assist them to be wildly successful.
  • Identify market needs from primary research, customer engagements, competitive analysis, sales feedback and your own experience to develop compelling market requirement documents (MRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Develop clear and differentiated messages and value proposition to help sales enablement - generate and refine world-class positioning materials
  • Interact with customers and provide active product feedback internally
  • Analyze market trends, products and technologies to develop insights that enable View to maintain industry leading products and market position
  • Attend industry symposiums, conferences, and trade shows for supporting marketing activities and sales enablement
    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    • IoT, connectivity, or smart building industry background is a bonus
    • 5-7 years of product marketing experience in B2B/enterprise SaaS products
    • Messaging and Positioning Skills: Create modern, unique, and differentiated messaging for the product. Work with corporate marketing to proliferate the messaging to all market channels sales training, webinars, social media, and briefings
    • Powerful Writing: As a team member, you will be asked to create select, high-impact communications and collateral for the various consumer segments. Strong writing skills, with an emphasis on telling a clear story, are a must. You will need to be experienced and gifted in succinctly describing the business value of products and solutions
    • Presentation Skills: In this role, you will present in front of both large and small groups. You should be accomplished and comfortable as a speaker
    • Willing to travel - 20%
      EDUCATIONB.S. and MBA, or equivalent experience
