Together, we're the next BIG thing in dataJob DescriptionWestern Digital is recruiting an experienced candidate to manage -all -North America Corporate Services with a focus on -our -Northern California -sites in San Jose, Milpitas and Fremont. -Limited travel may be necessary -to support the remote sites in -Southern California, Minnesota, Arizona, and Colorado. - A minimum of 5 years' managerial experience in a similar role within a global company's, high positive energy environment and focus on company processes while supporting the company's diverse cultures.As a -Corporate Services Manager, you will be managing two direct reports and cross site responsibility of operating all areas of service provided to the employees, such as: Management and leadership of a team of employees and vendors in caf-- services, break room services, catering services and special events, site employee amenities and supply management. You will be reporting directly to the Director, Real Estate Operation North America.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Evaluates, responds, and makes recommendations based upon customer needs to maximize customer satisfaction.Initiation, planning, execution and control of various projects in the Corporate Facilities Services team.The ability to drive processes in a complex organization and multitasks against multiple interfaces in your organization.Budget control management and orders - supervision and monitoring of the annual budget ($ 3M), ongoing monitoring of orders, responsibility for meeting the requirements and budget framework, analysis and planning. -Preparation and analysis of monthly and period end financial reports for management team - provide explanations for variances to budget and forecasts, identify trends and KPIs.Implementing work processes and goals for budget savings .Provide financial perspective of risks and opportunities.Keep in constant contact with operations to recognize change in trends.Participate in review of contract and contract changes to assess commercial implications and ensure contracts are understood and enforced.Responsibility for managing and preserving knowledge including contract management, document management, quality control for the various projects.Promoting and integrating processes from different disciplines: Procurement, Finance ,Legal ,IT, HR and other departments.Implementation of methodology and work procedures.QualificationsCompetencies:Experience in a similar work environment.Ability to work under load and multitasking, problem-solving and coping in unexpected situations.Leadership skills.Multi-tasks efficiently.High learning curve. -Prioritizes and works efficiently with limited supervision.Professional attitude and expectations.Recognizes and resolves problems quickly and efficiently.Works well in a team environment -and manage aspects in a matrix manner.Able to handle a fast-paced environment that is often demanding.High service consciousness initiative and creativity.Experience, Skills & Education:Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience in food service management. -Excellent written and oral presentation capabilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel; PowerPoint; Word).
