Locum Physician - Otolaryngology Summary: Join the San Juan ENT clinic in Carmichael, CA, as a full-time locum physician for a period of three months. This role offers the opportunity to work in an outpatient clinic associated with a community hospital within a large multispecialty group. In this vital position, you will have the chance to provide quality care to patients and perform targeted ENT surgeries as needed. • See patients in the ENT clinic.
• Perform required procedures including flexible laryngoscopy, sinus endoscopy, cerumen removal, otomicroscopy, and diagnostic biopsies.
• Refer patients for surgeries to other ENTs if preferred.
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Opportunities for paid hospital call, including trauma call, if interested.
• Collaborate with a support staff comprising one full-time Medical Assistant and one surgery scheduler.
• Manage a patient load of 25-30 patients per day. Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Active California medical license.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a clean malpractice history. License and Certification Requirements:
    • California medical license - REQUIRED.
    • Board Certification or Board Eligibility - REQUIRED.
