Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to
join our team in Battle Creek, Michigan. Provide medical
evaluations, diagnose, and treat acute, episodic, or chronic mental
health conditions independently or with the healthcare team.
Develop and implement patient Master Treatment Plans, assess
physical and psychiatric health, and document clinical observations
and treatments. Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure
quality care, involve families, and address educational needs.
Support legal, policy, and regulatory requirements, including
on-call duties, health promotion, and disease prevention. Order,
perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and
maintain a professional, empathetic attitude focused on patient
safety. Qualifications include a Master's in Nursing, Board
Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, state licensure,
DEA license, and clinical experience in a similar patient
population.
