or full-time Board-Certified/ Board Eligible Physician in Capitola
and Salinas, California! If your specialty is in Ortho and/or in
PM&R, we are interested in hearing from you! Residents/Follows
who have completed a Fellowship are encouraged to apply for
potential start dates throughout year 2026. Schedule: Clinic Hours,
Monday through Friday. Open to full time or part time This role
will support both Capitola and Salinas Clinics. No weekends. We

Competitive Salaries The Physician is to assume the role of a
primary treating physician for injured workers as well as
commercial and Medicare patients. This position requires an M.D. or
D.O. with a personable and proficient in relationship building to
help create a positive atmosphere. They will have the opportunity
to comprehensively care for their patients within our
multidisciplinary organization. The provider must also be
comfortable communicating with agents of payors for utilization
review and request authorizations. What you will do: Comprehensive
chronic pain care of the patients Medication management includes
weaning within the current standards of care. Evaluating patients
with a multidisciplinary team to determine which candidates are
appropriate for enrollment in various care programs within the
organization or a referral to others. Analyze reports, test
results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose any
condition of patients and propose treatment options. Discuss
potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and
ensure that all allergy information is up to date before
prescribing medication/treatment. Provide advice to patients for
lifestyle and dietary changes that may improve their health or help
to treat the health issue they are experiencing. Adhere to
departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality
improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and infection
control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with
all federal and state health information privacy laws. Record
complete, timely and legible medical records. Qualifications:
California Board Certified Physician License or Board Eligible
Physician Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of
Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing
Experience with the California Workers Compensation System
preferred. Functional Restoration/Rehabilitation experience
preferred. Experience providing primary care and diagnostic
services in a clinical setting. Experience prescribing appropriate
medications, treatments, and health regimens. Experience
collaborating with specialists to address patient conditions and
diagnose issues. Experience working in a team of healthcare
professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive,
effective patient experiences with our organization. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge base of
musculoskeletal pathology and treatment is essential Must have the
ability to relate to patients in chronic pain. Must understand the
difference between chronic and acute pain. Compensation Range:
