CT Tech Location: Santa Cruz, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,994 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Nights Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required, Crisis Protocol Approved, Fluoroscopy Description: Unit has 2 beds and uses Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners. Certifications required include BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, and a valid license. Expected ratios are 10-20 scans depending on the shift, with evenings being the busiest. The facility utilizes Cerner and McKesson PACS for charting. Staff works the same hours on holidays as on weekends, with shifts rotating among team members. Scrub color is teal. Hospitalists or Intensivists are present in-house. Radiologists are not available 24/7; Nighthawk services are used for night shifts. Orientation will be floor specific for Radiology with 3-4 shifts. Common diagnoses and types of patients include ER patients, Virtual Colonography, and gated procedures. General CT experience is preferred. Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel shifts up to 4 times per 13-week assignment. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
