Job Description:

The Payroll & Compensations Specialist will be responsible for carrying out activities in support of the Company's annual reward cycle with market pricing function for job categories. The person will also oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.Duties/Responsibilities:--- Strategizes, implements, and supports the total compensation program.--- Analyzes market data to develop and maintain salary ranges, short-term incentive targets and equity ranges based on established compensation strategy.--- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.--- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.--- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.--- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.--- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.--- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.--- Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: --- Experience with job analysis, benchmarking, and market pricing.--- Advanced Excel skills to analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models and reports, ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.--- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.--- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.--- Proficient with ADP payroll software.Education and Experience:--- 3 to 5 years of compensation related experience preferably within the technology industry.--- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.--- Experience working with a multinational company is preferred.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.About ZL TechZL is a small company with a large footprint.
