Group/DivisionThe Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsDo you want to be a member of a diverse and impactful team? Do you like helping other learn and succeed? We are looking for an individual who enjoy helping others learn and build confidence in supporting KLA products. We believe the right person can make a difference by developing and delivering learning experiences which meet our customer service commitments.
Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Engineers to validate procedures for accuracy, usability, and content
  • Develop courseware and certification plans intended to enable support engineers to support product service commitments.
  • Lead and guide student learning OJT activities on product maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Assess student skills and understanding and drive need training plans to improve student capabilities.
  • Facilitate classroom learning by maximizing student engagement, visuals, examinations to confirm a student's understanding of concepts and theory!
  • Participate in opportunities to build your expertise which include, manufacturing, field support, upgrades, installs, and other technical activities.
  • Keep up with the latest product changes and field performance metrics to validate your curriculums are on target.
  • Engage with team members to gain valuable insights on product development & performance to confirm the learning needs are understood.
  • Build videos, remote training, web-based modules, and augment reality models and simulations to deliver immersive learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with the technical writers and students to validate procedures for accuracy, usability, and content.
  • Some international travel maybe required - 30%
    Minimum QualificationsMaster's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of > 5 years in technical related training/support position
