It provides actionable intelligent level of management that enables IT organizations to analyze, simplify and automate their environments. It is driven by analytics and machine learning to provide actionable intelligence for IT operations management. Intersight Virtual Appliance is the on-premises solution that runs the Intersight capabilities in a Virtual Appliance.As part of Intersight Virtual Appliance team, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic core team and help shape the future of Data Center Infrastructure management technology, product direction and eventually the business in Data Center. • As a senior engineer, contribute to backend development activities of Intersight SaaS & On-premises appliance products including planning, designing, implementing, testing, automating, and coordinating with other teams.
• Influence the feature development and improving product quality and customer experience.
• Good team player. Lead and mentor colleagues with your expertise and knowledge.
• Maintain active understanding of industry practices for platform scaling and new technology.
• Work on Agile Teams using continuous development and deployment processMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years related experience
  • 5+ years of experience programming in languages like Go, Java, Python or C++
  • Experience in model driven microservices architecture using Container and Orchestration technologies such as Docker, KubernetesPreferred Qualifications:
    • Software and product development experience in cloud native technologies & distributed systems on Linux and Virtualization platforms
    • Knowledge of large-scale distributed data processing architectures and technologies like REST API, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis
    • Fundamentally strong in Data Structures and Algorithms
    • Experience in CI/CD pipeline-based large-scale development with familiarity with AWS, GIT, Jenkins and Ansible

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
