Principal Engineer, ERP Application Support Position Overview We
are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Enterprise
Application Lead to join our team. This role requires a strong
background in consulting, analysis, and technology, along with
excellent relationship and vendor management skills. As the
Principal Enterprise Application Lead, you will be responsible for
overseeing application configuration and implementation, ensuring
alignment with business needs, and fostering strong partnerships
with stakeholders and vendors to convert feature improvements into
organizational value. This is an onsite position in our Downtown
Oakland Headquarters. The salary range for the Lead
Engineer-Infrastructure position at Center for Elders Independence
is $142,944 - $179,006. Annual salary is based on the market for
the Lead Engineer - Finance/HR position, as well as experience,
skills, abilities and work history. Key Responsibilities: - System
Management: Lead the configuration strategy and optimization of the
financial and human resource systems, ensuring their availability,
functionality, and integration with other clinical and
administrative systems. - Upgrades & Enhancements: Ensure that all
updates align with the organization's operational goals and
compliance requirements. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with financial, administrative, and IT teams to
understand needs, gather feedback, and translate them into system
enhancements. Collaborate with vendors and external stakeholders
for system integrations and updates. - Compliance & Security:
Ensure that financial and human resource systems remain compliant
with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, as well as relevant
industry standards for data security, privacy, and
interoperability. - Innovation & Strategic Planning: Stay current
with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to
continually improve the financial and human resource systems.
Provide strategic recommendations for leveraging systems to enhance
workflows, data management, and patient care. - Vendor Management:
Oversee relationships with technology suppliers, ensuring service
delivery aligns with contractual agreements. Evaluate vendor
performance and negotiate contracts to optimize value.
Qualifications: - Education: Associate's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. -
Experience: - 5 years of experience in managing, consulting, or a
related role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
configuring financial systems with at least 2 years in a leadership
role. - Proven experience in relationship management and vendor
management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -
Familiarity with PRINCE 2 or PMP project management methodologies
and tools. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment. - Familiarity and experience with Great Plains, Conga,
EZ Caps a strong advantage - Technical Skills: - Strong
understanding of financial and operational technologies, healthcare
IT infrastructure, and industry standards (ITIL, HL7, FHIR, etc.).
- Proficiency in database management, software development, and
application configuration. - Experience with system security
protocols and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.). -
Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and integration tools. -
Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication
skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
cross-functional teams and lead technical teams. Ability to
articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with
cloud-based financial solutions or other leading ERP platforms. -
Knowledge of financial workflows, revenue cycle management, and
other healthcare administration processes. - Experience using
PRINCE 2 or PMP project management methodologies. Center for

the Elderly) organization that uses an interdisciplinary team
approach to care planning and care implementation for the purpose
of providing high quality, affordable, integrated health care
services to the elderly, including an Adult Day Health Center, and
promoting autonomy, quality of life and the ability of individuals
to live in their communities. Unlike other healthcare plans, CEI is
not a "fee-for-service" plan. It is a "capitation" healthcare plan.
