Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver III at Sherwin-Williams, you will be a key
player in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our paints,
coatings, and related products to our esteemed commercial and
retail customers. Leveraging our reputation as a global leader in
the manufacture and distribution of paints and coatings, you will
handle the responsibilities of routing, loading, and delivering
products while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and
ensuring the highest levels of customer service. This role requires
robust knowledge of transportation and logistics practices,
proficiency in handling delivery equipment, and a strong commitment
to safety protocols. Safely and efficiently operate delivery
vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to customer
locations. Load and unload products carefully, verifying orders and
ensuring their condition. Plan route schedules with attention to
customer priorities and areas’ traffic patterns. Maintain accurate
records of deliveries and customer interactions for process
integrity. Inspect and maintain the vehicle and related equipment,
ensuring all are in excellent working condition. Adhere strictly to
driving regulations and safety standards as set by both the company
and regulatory bodies. Offer outstanding customer service during
deliveries, embodying the company’s dedication to quality and
professionalism. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving
record Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems Capability to
operate and maintain delivery vehicles and related equipment Good
physical condition able to lift and move heavy loads Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid commercial
driver’s license (CDL) Additional certification in Transportation
and Logistics is preferred
