As a key part of our logistics team, you will ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, upholding our commitment to excellent service and reliability. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are committed to safety and efficiency. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport food and food-related products to customers across designated routes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance before, during, and after trips. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations. Manage documentation related to deliveries, including bills of lading, invoices, and other necessary paperwork. Engage with customers during deliveries, ensuring excellent service and handling any issues professionally. Maintain communication with dispatchers and support teams to report conditions, vehicular problems, or other incidents. Adhere to company operating policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality compliance. Strong driving skills with the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces. Excellent time management skills to manage delivery schedules and routes effectively. Good physical health to handle loading and unloading of cargo as needed. Customer service orientation, with the ability to handle disputes and emergencies calmly and efficiently. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
