Bigfoot is seeking a smart and driven Product Manager who has
experience building and launching world-class consumer health
products. As a relentless advocate for the needs of end users, you
will serve as the organizational "glue,” connecting the technical
and business functions - including Commercial, User Experience,
Engineering, Regulatory, Clinical, and Executive leadership - to
define, build, and launch a complex, full-stack, medical technology
system intended to improve the lives of people living with
diabetes. You need to be able to go high and low, stepping back and
shaping strategy and product / service features, as well as diving
into the pixels of mobile and web apps. You will ensure smooth
transitions of the product through the development lifecycle,
taking the product from concept through commercial launch. Ideally
you are a systems thinker and adept at analysis and synthesis of
executive input, competitive intel, market research, and
end-user/customer data to define amazing products that help
transform the lives of people with insulin-requiring diabetes.
The ideal candidate possesses a combination of leadership, deep
analytics, great instincts, scrappiness, technical capabilities, an
inquisitive nature, top communication skills, and excellent
attention to detail — where you are comfortable drafting a customer
requirements document, diving into the details to define product
requirements, collaborating with Engineers and UX designers,
running a working session with a cross-functional team, and
presenting to a leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and launch products that make a difference.
Work at the intersection of business, user experience design,
and engineering, representing the voice of the business and the
voice of the customer from concept development through
Support full lifecycle product management, including
strategy/concept development, requirements definition, development,
testing, and deployment.
Develop an in-depth, empathetic understanding of Bigfoot’s
target customers and their needs.
Participate in user and market research to evaluate product
concepts and ensure product market fit.
Develop a strong understanding of the market and competitive
landscape across the entire Bigfoot strategy.
Serve as product owner to various development teams to define
and prioritize scope throughout the development cycle.
Collaborate with the commercial, operations, and a variety of
other functions to support launch of all new products and services
to the commercial market.
Flex where needed, providing support for clinical trials,
usability testing, end-user training, and a variety of other
Must haves we’re looking for:
3+ years experience in product management, product marketing, or
product development in tech, healthcare, or medical technology.
Experience with upstream product marketing, product management,
and product launch.
Excellent collaborator: experience successfully managing and
building strong working relationships with cross-functional
Results-oriented and highly productive, as demonstrated by
working as a product or project manager in high performing teams
that have built, deployed, and iterated on high tech or

We’d prefer if you also have:
Experience in Class I/II/III medical devices.
Strong diabetes disease state and diabetes product
Experience working in an agile environment.
BA/BS in engineering, business, life sciences, or related
MBA or Masters in related field or equivalent practical
