Job Description:

In this position you will be leading system design of new generation of products as well as improving the existing product range. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment defining system requirements and the product performance validation process. You will be working with all R&D disciplines such as Hardware, Software, Mechanics and Integration, within the North America team as well as with other Solaredge teams around the world.We are looking for a hands-on, experienced engineer who can see the bigger picture, understand all the system aspects and perform excellent analytical analysis of the system specifications.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the product system requirements definition, behavior, logic & interfaces, considering all disciplines (hardware, software, mechanics, thermal, user interface and more).
• Define the validation plan and make sure the product meets its requirements.
• Act as primary contact for system-related issues.
• Write System Requirements and Design documentations.Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in EE, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in development and testing of complex systems.
  • Strong background in system design from industries such as: UPS, PV inverters, Energy storage, or similar.
  • Hands on R&D experience, and experience with lab equipment.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to multi-task.
