Description:Principle Accountabilities:*Performs visual inspection of electronic card and sub-assemblies, and systems or units to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.*Utilizes gages, templates, microscopes and other manufacturing aids to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.*Ensures that all required process operations have been performed on the product that is being inspected.*Enters all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.*Notifies the appropriate personnel if unusual product defects are identified or if process yields fall below acceptable levels.*Provides timely feedback to manufacturing if non-conforming product is identified.*Accurately completes all administrative activities associated with quality inspection.*Performs process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards.*Assists with the disposition of all non-conforming materials/product.Skills:*Demonstrates functional skills.*Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process.*Has awareness of Flex techniques.*Typically requires an understanding of inspection techniques.*Use of the following tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring; Inspection: bare board, loaded, components, cable/harness, microscope, measuring tools; Mechanical & Electrical Tools: measuring tools; Office Skills: data entry, spreadsheet, manufacturing systems software.*Able to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions.*Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, leads and supervisors of the organization.*Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.*Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement and distance.*Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.*Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Skills:PCBA, gages, meteorology, Quality assurance, Inspection, Quality control, Calipers, Qa, Quality check, visual inspectionTop Skills Details:PCBA, meteorology, QCAdditional Skills & Qualifications:The employee is frequently required to sit and talk and hear.
