semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the

the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA''s Global Products
Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA''s
metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the
brightest research scientist, software engineers, application
development engineers, and senior product technology process
engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of
reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The
company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and
the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are
consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.The
qualified candidate will be responsible for the systems engineering
on a next-generation Multi-Beam E-Beam reticle inspector. This
candidate will work closely with various subsystems including
source, electron optics, opto-mechanics, vacuum, electronics,
software, and algorithms. He/She will allocate requirements to the
subsystems, calculate error budgets, define and resolve interfaces
and working parameters for the optimal hardware/software/algorithm
performance of the tool. The candidate will also conduct prototype
experiments and data analyses to validate architectural choices.
Innovation, willing to put in extra efforts, team work, and
attention to details are key attributes of the job. Clear oral and
written communication skills are important as the candidate is
expected to be a conduit between systems engineering management and
the program management. In addition the candidate will be closely
coordinating with marketing and field engagements. Experience in
project planning and project management also highly desired.KEY
ATTRIBUTES OF ROLE:4 or more years of experience with system
engineering development of complex Semiconductor system and
applying systems engineering principles to predict tool performance
to find areas for system improvement.Experience in support customer
engagements within Semiconductor Capital Equipment highly
desired.Experience with electron-beam systems and reticle
inspection and processing systems.Create and execute tests and
experiments to understand and enhance overall system
performance.Strong field support emphasis with ability to
drive/manage daily engineering activity in the field, while
maintaining alignment with internal systems initiatives. Additional
emphasis on soft skills, project management capability, and ability
to be customer facing.Lead role reporting into systems engineering
organization to align with Hardware/Systems/SW/Algo teams in
developing and driving engineering engagements in the field.Key
near term initiatives toward customer Beta satisfaction at key
customer engagements.Minimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) and
5 years of work experience, or Master''s Degree and 8 years of
experience, or Bachelor''s Degree and 12 years of work
