primary role of the Program Coordinator is providing quality care
and learning experiences for children of various abilities in mixed
age groups while parents are attending to court business.
Additionally, the Program Coordinator is distinguishable from the
Teacher role with additional administrative and staff coordination
duties supporting a small group of 1 to 5 locations within a
County, District, or Local regional operating area. The Program
Coordinator, under direction from their supervisor, coordinates
staff schedules, various supply purchases, and data reports.Key
Responsibilities:Program Facilitation & Delivery
- Provide care and quality learning experiences for children of
multiple ages in the same setting.
- Create appropriate learning environments inclusive of children
with special needs.
- Learn and implement adaptive methods and strategies for working
with all children.
- Work in a culturally and linguistically sensitive manner with
families from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain files on families and record attendance as
necessary.
- Develop relationships with point of contact at individual court
site.
- Provide input for program planning and development.
- Refer families to local resources as needed.
- Maintain active communication with Catalyst Community
staff.Communication
- Establish relationships with parents and children utilizing the
child care services at the courthouse.
- Maintain active communication with Catalyst Community staff
located at corporate offices.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively speak and write in
English.Customer Orientation
- Coordinate and communicate with regional site contacts to
ensure program satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a genuine openness to hearing what others think and
feel and respond appropriately.
- Solicit feedback from parents/guardians utilizing services and
adjust program goals as needed.

timelines.

others.Planning and Organizing
- Coordinate staff scheduling and location coverage under the
direction of supervisor.
- Coordinate purchasing of supplies and materials for Court
Program locations using Catalyst Community procurement
procedures.
- Coordinate data collection processes for quality programs and
operations. Examples include attendance reports, purchasing and
mileage reimbursement sheets, and program evaluations.
- Immediately address areas and issues related to planning and
organizing directly with the supervisor.
- Prepare reports that summarize statewide and regional project
work and distribute to key stakeholders.Critical Thinking
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate theories into practice
while supporting the learning process of others.
- Involve others in problem-solving situations by gathering
accurate information and analyzing suggested solutions.
- Recognize emotion yet draw upon facts and information when
determining solutions.
- Maintain and project a calm demeanor while problem-solving with
internal and external partners.
- Additional tasks as assigned.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Child Development (CD), Early Childhood
Education (ECE), or related field.
- 2-3 years' experience in CD/ECE.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with non-English speakers and those from
diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to observe, plan and articulate children's
developmental play, knowledge of developmental stages, ability to
work effectively with mixed age groups, ability to work
collaboratively and responsively within a team setting.
- Be physically and mentally capable of interacting with children
from 6 weeks to 13 years of age, meeting all their needs and
ensuring their safety.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Customer service oriented.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in potentially
stressful situations, and self-confidence to work
independently.Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a formal office setting with no access
to yard space.
- Must be comfortable completing a security screening when
entering work site.
- Frequent bending, lifting, twisting and reaching.
- Generally pleasant working conditions.
- Less than 50% of daily assignments involve prolonged physical
effort.
- Travel: Up to 50% regionally.Shift Type: Full Time,
OnsiteSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmCompensation: $26.64 -
