About the Role:As an Ecademy Trainee, you will undergo our comprehensive hands-on training program to learn the foundations of autism, build your understanding of the core principles of applied behavior analysis, and prepare you to work directly with children in a 1:1 setting through clinically-designed role play sessions and active shadowing with our Care team.At the end of the program, you will be qualified to:

• Understand the core principles of applied behavior analysis
• Implement behavior plans to assist children with day-to-day activities
• Monitor behavior and record data on your patients' progress
• Promote language development, skill acquisition, and prosocial behaviors for individuals with autism
• Obtain your RBT credential and join Elemy as an RBTThe role of an RBT is a rewarding position - you'll be an important member of children's care teams and will see the results first hand as you help improve their lives.
  What You'll NeedEcademy participants are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of childcare experience preferred
  • US work authorization
  • Must pass background check
  • Access to a reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver's license
  • Negative tuberculosis test results
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer and internet for the full duration of the training
  • Commitment to complete -30 hours of online training within the first 2 weeks, mandatory attendance in 3 practical training sessions and an in-person competency assessment to become eligible to write your RBT examIf you are a successful Ecademy graduate, we will offer you:
