JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE PRODUCTION CONTROL CLERK A SHIFT: MONDAY
THRU WEDNESDAY AND EVERY OTHER THURSDAY 6:00 AM TO 6:00 PM REPORTS
TO: PRODUCTION PLANNING SUPERVISOR SUMMARY: Under the direction of
the Production Planning Supervisor, the Production Control Clerk is
responsible for implementing and monitoring daily wafer production
schedules, including implementing wafer starts and shipments, crib
releases and scrap dispositions, and planning holds; carries out
Lot Configuration Changes (LCC's) as needed; interfaces with
Manufacturing and Engineering regarding product releases and holds;
updates, prepares, and tracks invoices for JITHUB pulls using
PeopleSoft; collaborates with Stores regarding inventory
requirements for new or future build requirements. This position is
located in Milpitas, California. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Implements and monitors daily wafer production schedules,
including wafer starts and shipments, crib releases, scrap
dispositions, and planning holds
- Updates Lot Configuration Changes (LCC's) quickly and
efficiently to ensure lots reflect the most current
information
- Interfaces with Manufacturing and Engineering regarding product
releases and/or holds
- Updates, prepares, and tracks invoices for JITHUB pulls using
PeopleSoft or similar ERP system
- Collaborates with Stores regarding inventory requirements for
new or future product builds in order to ensure consistent
inventory availability
- Responds to inquiries from employees, managers, and other
departments
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level* MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of experience working in Material Handling,
Purchasing, or Stores in a manufacturing or production
environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
ApplicationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of production or manufacturing principles, practices,
and techniques; including inventory control, production scheduling,
material requirements, and product builds
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to
create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing,
with all levels of employees and management
- Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels
of employees and management
- Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to follow routine verbal or written
instructions
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
- Flexible and able to prioritizeWORKING CONDITIONS: The
Production Control Clerk works primarily in an office environment
on A Shift which is Monday thru Wednesday and every other Thursday
from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The schedule may be altered from
time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from
building-to-building; stands and walks; performs various fine
grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and
enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and
other office equipment. May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to
30 pounds. *Other duties of a similar nature or level are duties
