The Opportunity: Safety-Kleen Newark, CA is looking for a Lab Technician II to join their safety conscious team. The Lab Technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties. The schedule for this position is 5 days a week: Sun-Thur 6am-2:30 pm.Why work for Safety-Kleen?

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures;
  • Utilizes basic instrumentation;
  • Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion;
  • Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines;
  • Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area. What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?
    • BS in Chemistry or related science is required;
    • 2+ years of previous lab technician experience is preferred;
    • Previous experience with ICP or GC or GC/MS analysis is preferred;
    • Valid driver's license required;
