The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a hard-working individual with a positive temperament to contribute to an extraordinary Finance team in the Global Product Group. The ideal candidate will work cross functionally within KLA and have the opportunity to affect the company's long-term financial performance. In this role, you will support a multifaceted organization dedicated to finding unique ways of providing value to our business partners. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ownership of all R&D and SG&A related accounts for a fast growing division.
  • Forecast project material expenses based on business inputs and validate underlying assumptions
  • Develop tools to identify risks and opportunities in the forecast, monitor and report the quarter-to-date actual results against strategic plan and current forecast
  • Input and maintain forecast using Planning Analytics financial reporting system, maintain data accuracy in both Planning Analytics and offline working files
  • Take full ownership of Division fixed cost process, partner with various business owners to understand the engineering programs and the associated financial impact, key drivers & issues of the business
  • Develop product portfolio analysis for the Division and report out findings
  • Handle month-end and quarter-end close process to meet corporate close calendar
  • Assist in long-term planning activities
    Prepare routine financial reports and quarterly executive review reports

    Minimum Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 4-5 years of related experience.
    • Proven financial or analytical experience with strong forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
    • Outstanding command of database tools and IT systems, with the ability to extract relevant conclusions from large quantities of data.
    • Strong attention to detail, and sense of ownership over delivered results.
    • Acute written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to produce results, prioritize workload and achieve effective outcome in a fast-paced environment.
    • Solid problem solving and root cause analysis abilities.
    • Working experience with IBM Cognos and SAP a plus.
    • Strong Excel skills with solid understanding of Pivot Tables, sophisticated formulas. Macros/VBA programming ability desired but not required.
