Digital Power facilities are in Milpitas, CA; DescriptionWe are looking for a Assembly Technician to join our team working on the development and integration of power supplies and power systems solutions for diversified industries and applications. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for manual component assembly, equipment operation, test and repair of power systems with custom electronics and mechanical parts. In addition, you might be called to assemble parts and components for new products according to specifications from clients or supervisors. You know enough power electronics to follow a schematic and rework PCBs, and you can assemble value added products. You enjoy working with the technical team to improve design and manufacturability.Responsibilities Work from layout drawings, point-to-point wire lists and wiring schematics Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools Use PPE (personal protection equipment) properly to prevent unexpected incidents Experienced with PCB testing Follow test procedures to perform functional testing or manual testing requirements Experienced with power electronic test & measurement instrumentation Trained or certified in IPC-A-610 (Assemblies) or J-STD-001 (solder) Experienced in operating instruments like Oscilloscope and DVM Experienced working in medical instrument assemblies, system building, or on a manufacturing production line is a big plus Requirements Working as a team player in a lab environment is a must Good Attendance, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, eagerness to learn. Able to follow both written and verbal instructions. Follow test procedures to perform functional testing or manual testing requirements. Excellent hand and eye coordination. Willingness to maintain a clean and orderly work area. Flexibility with changing shifts or work schedules. Experience with electronic test & measurement instrumentation is a big plus. Experience soldering is a big plus. Previous experience with PCB testing is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be fully vaccinated within two weeks of starting employment 8-hour shift Job Location: Milpitas, CA Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role Good eye-hand coordination to construct small parts and pieces into a final product The ability to use various hand tools to produce a final product Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product High school diploma and related training preferred BenefitsTurnOnGreen is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive space where our employees can thrive.
