Job Description:

Micross possesses the sourcing, packaging, assembly, engineering,
test and logistics expertise needed to support an application
throughout its entire program cycle.The Facility Technician is
responsible for performing diversified duties to install,
troubleshoot, repair and maintain testing and facility equipment
according to safety, preventative maintenance systems and processes
to support the success of the companys goals and objectives.DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with Facility Manager to complete projects and work
orders efficiently.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance including but not limited
to replacement or repair of equipment (e.g. contactors, step
transformers, motor wiring, sockets, fuses, safety controls, cords,
etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
- Performs minor plumbing of equipment (e.g. replacement or
repair of leaks in cooling lines, air lines, adding new lines,
condensate lines, etc.).
- Under the supervision of Facility Manager or Department
Manager
- Performs basic mechanic skills including but not limited to
mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting
of test machines.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make
adjustments.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on facility and
department test equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required
maintenance and service.
- Responds to emergency situations during normal work schedule
for purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly
work area.
- Performs other work related duties as assigned.
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to work with high voltage 480vac
- Must be able to work with logic controllers.
- Must be able to work at heights.
- Will be in charge of Facility equipment P.M. program working
with company software.
- General knowledge of using building materials for patching of
walls, texturing, new constructionRequirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred industrial
Electrical certification required or 5+ years of facility equipment
service.
- 5-7 years equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing
setting a plus or equivalent.
- Hazardous Materials certification a plus or equivalent.
- Experience with facility CMMS software for PM tracking.SKILLS:
- Self-starter dedicated to continuous quality improvement
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Adhere to safety practices/ company guidelines
- Ability to plan and manage projects under the direction of the
Facility Manager
- Occasionally upgrade skill set to meet changing job conditions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work
shift Able to lift/ and or move up to 50lbsIMPORTANT
INFORMATION:This position is in an ITAR-registered facility, US
Person (US Citizen or US Permanent resident) status is a
