About the Role: The Estimator III position will assist the
Estimating team with providing accurate and competitive cost
estimates on several small and medium electrical projects. Company

Essential FunctionsAnalyze and interpret construction drawings,
specifications and other bid documentsPerform accurate electrical
take-offs for a diverse range of electrical construction
projectsUnderstand Scope of Work to bid as well as resolve
discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.Establish and
maintain working relationships with vendors and
subcontractorsManage bid pricing from vendorsPrepare pre-bid RFI's
and track and document responsesContributes to team effort by
accomplishing related results as neededUse computer software to
calculate estimatesWork as a team member as well as
independentlyAttend job walks with the GC or the clientProvide bid
review details to the Director of Preconstruction, prior to sending
to client About You: QualificationsA minimum of four years of
estimating experience in construction or a related
field.Familiarity with Accubid, Livecount, and Bluebeam preferredA
Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business-related
field is preferred from an accredited college or university. ** An
equivalent combination of electrical construction field experience
and relevant work experience may be substituted.
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and
Word primarily)Industry knowledgeExcellent communication skills,
both written and verbalAbility to work in a team environment and
accept periodic peer-to-peer bid reviewsAbility to assess time of
completion and required resources needed to meet a deadlineAbility
to read and understand drawings for all trades Architectural,
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawingsAbility to take
ownership and accountabilityPositive attitude and customer
focusStrong organization skillsProactive attitude, showing
initiative and the ability to work independentlyDependability and
punctuality for all CSI activitiesAbility to provide complete
estimates with less than complete documents/information Physical
DemandsFrequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces.May be required

environment 50% of the timeMay work in varying weather conditions:
