Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.Responsibilities:

• Generate functional prototype from design concepts and assist the transfer of R&D product build to manufacturing
• Support prototyping through all R&D project phases, including assembly, inspection, and testing
• Assist other technicians and engineers on to meet project goals
• Assist engineers with product and process development and improvement
• Perform testing to support design, process, and equipment validation
• Prepare test samples (products/materials/solutions) for routine and qualification testing
• Identify issues as they arise and assist in troubleshooting of procedures and/or instruments
• Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes
• Other duties as assignedQualifications:
  • High School Diploma plus 2-5 years' technician experience or 3 years' other hands on medical device experience
  • Experience with balloon catheter, drug coating, or other cardiovascular medical devices development preferred
  • Experience with test method execution is a plus
  • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and laboratory practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a clean room environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25lbsAdditional Information:The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,718 - 75,382.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
