Job Description Job Description Project Surveyor Position Overview: The Project Surveyor is responsible for overseeing surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves collaboration with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver precise surveying solutions that meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct land surveys using appropriate techniques and equipment Prepare and maintain accurate survey documentation and reports Collaborate with project teams to develop surveying plans and methodologies Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drafting and mapping purposes Perform staking and mapping activities to support construction and development projects Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding surveying practices Provide technical guidance and support to junior surveyors and staff Qualifications Proven experience as a surveyor in construction or land development projects Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and practices Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software Professional licensure as a land surveyor is preferred Benefits Salary: $70k - 150k Medical Dental Vision Disability Benefits Health Savings Account Flexible Spending Account Commuter Spending Accoutns Paid Holidays Vacation and Sick Leave Assistance for Professional Development Registration and Licensing Military Leave FMLA/CFRA leave for child birth or care of family members Year-end 401(k) Profit Sharing and Bonus Programs - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
